Cyanogen is disrupting the mobile space, and the marketing team is looking for a versatile Senior PR Manager to help drive our global narrative and communication strategy through our media, analyst, and social channels. The Senior PR Manager is focused on building awareness, traffic, and engagement. He or she should be adept at pitching and securing stories in top tier business and tech publications. The right candidate is comfortable writing press releases and blog posts, be adept at planning and organizing events, and partner with our community leads in ongoing acquisition and engagement activities. Reports directly to Head of Marketing and Communications.
Qualifications:
8-10 years experience in Public Relations.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Excellent writing skills, with samples to share.
Proven track record of creating successful media relations programs.
Experience managing agency partners.
Maintaining enthusiasm and calm demeanor in even the most stressful situations.
Strong consumer/technology/mobile media contacts.
Track record of running successful paid and organic social media campaigns and generating high engagement.
Must be an active user of Google+, Facebook, and Twitter, and preferably a content contributor to lifestyle oriented blogs.
Outstanding attention to detail and be able to boil down complex product offerings and communicate them effectively.
Experience in managing projects in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work with international teams and quickly develop an understanding for the cultural differences.
